Why PayBox Is A Scam

OK, well it’s probably NOT a scam, but there are a couple of features about this free program that you should know about before you start doing business with them. I’ve seen a lot of people promoting PayBox.me heavily everywhere online since Pay Box.me started its pre-launch on September 1st. Naturally, marketers want to get in as early as possible, but most of them won’t tell you exactly what you’re getting into with PayBox.me.

So What Is Pay Box?

PayBox is a website which offers you $50 to sign up, up to $20 per day and $5 for each referral. On the surface it seems like they a trying to develop a company similar to a “Paypal”. Offering services such as person-to-person transactions, currency exchanges, online stores and small and mid-size business integration and payment processing. The $20 a day that Pay Box is offering is like many GPT or “Get Paid To” sites that asks you to log into PayBox and complete tasks such as subscribing to their newsletter or completing surveys.

What’s The Problem With Paybox?

While there are no specific problems that should prevent you from signing up with them, there are somethings you should understand. When I gave you PayBox.me’s payment structure in the previous paragraph I bet you thought I gave you the amounts in U.S. dollars. I did not. PayBox plans to pay its members in what they call Pay Box currency. This PayBox currency, according to PayBox.me is “autonomous and independent of all nations and governments.”

OK, I Heard Of Systems Like PayBox Before, So?

Yes, we have all had programs which offer credits or vouchers or units just about everything under the sun. PayBox.me’s plan involves making their currency exchangeable with other currencies. I have been trading the forex markets for five years now and trust me, that is not as easy as it sounds. They are of course conflicts of interest with getting paid by the company controlling the value of the currency you are receiving. In addition, the PayBox.me currency may never become openly exchangeable.

However, This Is Not Unprecedented

This probably sounds like Paybox.me is embarking on a futile endeavor, however the strategy of creating a currency like PayBox.me is attempting to do has worked in the past. The most famous example is probably Disney, which created “Disney Dollars” way back in 1987. Yes, those little bills with cartoon characters, that you use to go on rides and buy cotton candy are an actual currency with an exchange rate against the U.S. dollar. Another, less famous, but more pertinent example would be ‘Linden Dollars’, the currency used in ‘Second Life’.

While getting in on the beginning of a new currency could mean massive profits for you, their is some work that you have to do. According to the Pay Box website you need to log in “frequently” or your PayBox account will be terminated for inactivity. You also need to participate in the online surveys and jobs they have for you once you log in to PayBox. Of course PayBox.me is still in pre-launch so I don’t know how much work they are going to require in order to keep an account active.

With These Potentially Negative Terms, Why Did I Join?

Well, even with all these complicated conditions and no guarantee of making money I still joined Pay Box for several reasons. First, the price was right. PayBox.me is completely free to join. Next, the information that Pay Box asks for isn’t enough to cause any damage to my privacy and PayBox hasn’t spammed me. In my opinion if you’re willing to do a little work, then PayBox is worth joining and it is possible the early subscribers will make a whole lot of money.

Please tell me your opinion of PayBox, these types of programs, this article or whatever is on your mind below in the comments section. I am constantly looking to expand on this article so any experiences you have with Pay Box as they start to expand, please post them here for myself and other marketers to read.

I have been a PayBox.me Early Bird user since they began and have a running balance of over $3,000 in whaterever currency value it eventually turns out to be. I log in about twice a week to keep the account active. In the beginning they boldly stated that when it went live the value could be converted into your own currency value and used however you like at that point in time.

I am a paybox.me member I do not understand what you call a new curency concept i.e, when paybox.me launches their currency in payBox currency in order to convert that money or utilize should the government in which I live recognize it ? If the government do not recognize, can't I use my money kept in paybox.me ? please elaborate me
  • Mgcsiki
    Dear Mr. Majoros,
That the important part is in your question. It is working like other virtual bank accounts (like PayPal or PayAlerts or others). Your virtual account can be used through your email address you connect to it. Later you can send money to your real bank account from this "virtual" account. Maybe I know you from Ujpest. Am I right?
    Regards, Gabor Csiki

    Respected title!
That question of mine, that the sum looked up

I joined because it was free; and I've made over $4,000 in there currency. They did change their name to Virta Pay to get ready for upcoming projects. Which we can use our balance to buy goods from merchants maybe in about three to five months.

Don't hold your breath. You will NEVER see any money from paybox. It's not real money and no store, not even paybox themselves accepts their own money! Don't you see how they are trying to sell training to their earlybird users and they want REAL CASH. They don't take their own play money. Get a clue people!

Virtual Currency is just that, an invisible, intangible amount that will hopefully determine a value after launch depending
on several factors. The first is PayBox inviting traders to sell digital goods, like music downloads and software. Because these products only have limited value to the trader, but a higher value to the buyer, the trader can sell so much for PayBox Dollars and make their own price.
Of course, then there will be competition from other traders, so it will become a bit like e-bay where the buyer gets the best price. Some sort of value will then be set, but the difficult part comes when real goods are sold. Then it is anyone's guess what the PayBox Dollar will be worth. I think there will be an almighty problem for PayBox to allow
it's members to trade their Dollars for anything near the true U.S. Dollar rate, even though they say theirs will float
on the currency markets in order to obtain some sort of value.
A lot of members, including me ammassed an enormous amount of these Dollars, not by referring their friends as some idiot thought in one blog, but by buying them for cents on the dollar. I was buying 50,000 for $25 U.S. in the hope that they increase to a good rate later. We shall see. Allan

  • Yes
You spent $25 of real money to buy 50,000 of FAKE MONEY??? How many times did you do that, 5, 10, 15 times? LOL!!! You should not be allowed on the internet until you learn a few things. First, the internet is full of people like you who fall for scammers like paybox. Secondly, paybox is a S.C.A.M. Thirdly, you should not be allowed to use the internet without a clear thinking internet savvy adult looking right over your shoulder. You've got a LOT to learn about the internet, my friend. I suggest you turn off your computer and step away from it before you get hurt, but it seems you have been hurt already and are too ignorant about how this scam-ridden internet works to know it. You are a sitting duck for the next scam email. I bet you fell for one of those scams that said you won millions of dollars in a lottery you never entered, and sent those scammers money to get money you never got.

    Too funny!!!!!

  • Mathew198071
WHAT CAN I PURCHASE WITH PAYBOX.ME CURENCY....? PLZ SOME BODY TELL ME
  • Yes
You can buy NOTHING paybox currency. No store accepts it and never will. The paybox "money" in your account is nothing more than numbers on your computer screen. Paybox doesn't even take their own money to buy their "training" that you can get free anywhere. They sell their scam training using Click Bank, who only takes REAL US DOLLARS. Why not contact them and ask if you can use some of the money in your account to pay for the training they are trying to sell you? OOPS! There's NO WAY to contact them. Do you get it now?
  • dan
you are all fucking retarted even if it is a scam what did you lose 5 minutes? wow big deal. if its not a scam you will be taking a freakin money bath so try it out. besides i have seen advertisements for paybox how do they pay for it? or heres a better question WHY would they pay for advertisements if its ALL A SCAM hmmm probably cuz its not
  • EDWINRODRIGUEZ007

  • Shaikhabullah
What i understand by joining PAYBOX that PAYBOX is doing marketing for some money making scammers and getting comission in thousand of dollars. Making fool to all members by just adding amount in dollars, which is useless an can not be withraw ever.
  • Markv

  • Boris the Investigator
Now I saw this comment on another forum......

    Hello,
Does anybody here know how to run away from this scam?
I don't know why I signed up, but I don't see any way to delete account.
You cannot delete account, you cannot change settings, mail, password... you cannot block them to send you mail, because the mail doesn't show. You cannot send them ticket... This is criminal! I never saw these kinds of things, I'm frustrated!
Did anybody manage to block it some way? How can I do it?

    ============================================
This is indeed a tricky question to answer even for those rather well versed in finding functions on the the net.
Why - well many people know how to do a whois check but the problem here is Nilo cloaked this fairly well and also used the whoisGuard.
He might think he tricked everyone, but not me & I will give you the information you (or anyone else) requires to put an end to that sort of nonsense....hopefully.
Looks like he bought the name from namecheap.com. You could have a look at their ToS & possibly make complaint.
Nameservers are there, & thats easy enuf for anyone to find out, so surely someone has already complained there by now. Do it anyway because if enough people do it then they will hopefully listen.

Now heres the bit that many don't know. I am going to give you the link to the whois of who actually hosts the site paybox.me It is Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2). On this whois page you will see where & how to report abuse. http://whois.domaintools.com/5...

PTC Investigations post below might be correct, I am not to sure on the exact legalities on that, but I do know that anti-spam laws in most countries (including where paybox is hosted) require a link where you may opt out of any future participation at any time. Paybox looks to be in violation of that rule at this time of writing. You choose. Complain or keep getting all that crap in your email.

When complaining about the website make sure you mention paybox.me & 50.16.231.2 so that you look like you know what you are talking about

    Good Luck
    Regards
    Boris

how to make money ? and how to get money from this ?
  • Yes
Sorry, but you don't really make any money and you don't get any money. It's a scam. Have you started getting spam email from folks you don't know? Thank paybox for that. They are harvesting email addresses and selling them to the highest bidder.
  • A-boy ;)
thanks to this im making money every day (y)
    referalls?? http://www.paybox.me/r/jordily
  • Yes
You have not made any money, honey.
  • fart-sack
since embarking on their campaign to grow the numbers I see a cunning plan emerging. They're encouraging the membership to buy a number of internet-marketing training packages via their affiliate link from clickbank. I notice the 1st one they promoted pays over $400 commission. Only need a few thousand people to sign up and they've made over a Mil :-D,,, and if they get close to the 10k target and beyond,, well, I'm sure you get the picture :-)
  • john cook
VERY TRUE, I HAVE BEEN SAYING THIS ALL ALONG. THEY ARE MAKING MILLIONS IN COMMISSSIONS OUT OF YOU. I CANT BELIEVE PEOPLE CANT SEE THIS. THEY ARE SMART LIARS.
  • aginaface
i agree with you fart-sack 100%. they are affiliates from clickbank, and the first one they promoted is: maverick money makers, which is also a scam group check them out on google, you won`t get any money and the box will never open, mark my words.
  • John cook
I AGREE 200%, THERE IS NO BOX OPENING NOT EVEN IN A MILLION YEARS AND THATS A FACT. ONLY IDIOTS AND GREEDY IDIOTS FOR THAT MATTER ARE STILL FOLLOWING THIS CRIMINALS. IF YOU ARE BORN STUPID AND IGNORANT WHAT CAN WE DO.
  • newb0323
well... I guess it wouldn't hurt... it's not like I gave them my credit card number or anything... so if they turn up to be one big pile of crap then, at least I didn't lose anything... except 5 minutes of my time. :) here's mine. http://www.paybox.me/r/andreag...
